Cara & Jennifer are the Co-Owners/Co-Founders & Chief Connectors of The Connection Exchange. Both are located at the headquarters in Columbia, MO overseeing the daily operations of the locations, services and contractors for the company. This was their big idea and dream to expand across the US because of their passion for connecting people!

Community Connector Teri started a nonprofit in 2013 called EnCircle Technologies, now a program of Woodhaven. She now owns a flower farm called Coralene's Flower Farm Market. Teri loves using her experience in the entrepreneurial and civic community to help connect others to people and resources that are needed!

ashley gross-minor

Community Connector Ashley owns Delight Events, a full service wedding and event planning company. She loves the outdoors, basketball, golfing, HGTV, live music and loving on her baby and rescue animals. Her passion is creating opportunities to connect people to celebrate all of life's moments, big and small!

camillia taylor
Community Connector Cami started her own skincare line Naturally Taylored Skincare in March of 2020, which is a true passion of hers. She also enjoys shopping, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her little boy!

Community Connector Jada's passion is helping people! She is a licensed life & health agent that specializes in working with Medicare. She enjoys being active in the community, spending time with friends and family and advocating for animals.

verna laboy

Community Connector Verna is known in Columbia as a community activist and a voice for the people. She strives to make a positive difference in the lives of others and has a long history of important work in Columbia, along with receiving several community leadership awards. Verna is a Health Educator with Columbia/Boone County Public Health & Human Services, overseeing the award winning “Live Well by Faith” Public Health Initiative that addresses health disparities in the Black community through the Black Church setting.

Community Connector Ryan and his wife have recently entered into the field of entrepreneurship with Captvr3d, their 3D video tour creation company. Ryan has also taught high school and middle school history and math and been a TA in the philosophy department. They also have three teenage children. Ryan enjoys fostering his own connections in the community while also satisfying his passion for helping others.
